AS starts to a season go, Saturday was a pretty ropey one for Rochdale.
On the pitch at least, there was very little to shout about from the 3-0 defeat at Newport County – a game that illustrated the difficult of the task ahead, if it was ever in any doubt.
However, was there a slight slither of light in what Ian Watson said after the game?
With the mood being understandably gloomy around the fanbase given what they saw in South Wales, there may be a few who laugh at that notion but hear me out…
