AFTER a relatively slow start, Rochdale have been busy in the transfer market this summer.

While their first signing – the permanent return of winger Cian Hayes from Peterborough United – was not confirmed until early-July, Ian Watson’s recruitment has continued apace since then with 11 more new additions.

The latest of them - midfielder Baba Adeeko from Wigan Athletic - adds some much-needed physicality to midfield that was necessary given Casey Pettit will now be missing for the foreseeable future with a knee issue.

However, it is clear that they are not done yet – and nor should they be.
