The dictionary definition, good folk of Rochdale, of a word and concept that has become the superpower of our plucky little football club – togetherness.
We rode the wave it created around the National League outposts before it swept through Wembley – and Borehamwood – to take the team back to the EFL after three years away.
It’s players diving into the arms of fans to celebrate season-saving last minute winners. It’s jumping on scores of coaches at silly o’clock on a Sunday to head to the national stadium. It’s belting out Olivia Dean at the top of your lungs outside the Town Hall. It’s buying season tickets in record numbers.
