THE way in which Rochdale won promotion back to the English Football League was the kind of script made for Hollywood.
But while Martin Scorcese, Christopher Nolan and the like are yet to pick up the phone, there is another way in which fans can relive the memorable journey.
The book ‘Survival to Silverware’ charts Dale’s historic, promotion-winning 2025-26 season through the eyes of esteemed journalist, author and Dale fan Chris Fitzgerald, with added input from some key club figures.
It is Chris’ third RAFC-related book having also written “The Rochdale Division” – a tale of the club’s record stay in and eventual escape from the fourth tier – and “Into The Unknown,” which followed Dale’s first ever National League season.
