From a nomadic academy career to his current status as the darling of the Rochdale fanbase, he is a shining example that the road less travelled is one worth taking.
Having lived away from home from a young age, the 25-year-old’s is a story of growing up quickly and the importance of being adaptable, both on and off the pitch.
This is not his first crack at being a league footballer, having turned out briefly for Leyton Orient during a loan spell while on the books at Millwall.
