Quite clearly, Rochdale remain a work in progress this season in pretty much every aspect.
To some, two clean sheets and four points gained over the last three games would indicate steps forward being taken, but given there was also a 4-1 home shellacking by Gillingham in the middle of that run, Dale clearly haven’t found the consistency they need.
So with that in mind, it’s time to take a deeper dive into a few common observations about Ian Watson’s side with the aid of some statistics…
